Jr. Engineer AutoCAD SOLIDWORKS Automation

We are seeking a creative and detailed Autocad/Solidworks/Automation Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing innovative designs that meet client specifications and project requirements.
This position requires proficiency in various design programs and a solid understanding of mechanical principles. The designer will collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure all designs are functional, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing.
The position involves field surveying, preparing design drawings, general and detailed layouts, and bills of materials for use during shop floor manufacturing and field installation of elements such as COBOTs, industrial robots, test equipment, and automation of electronics and automotive manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to travel to client sites and mastery of field measurements with measuring tapes
- Ability to produce drawings of various shapes, integration of COBOTS equipment, conveyors, etc.
- Ability to collaborate with the Manufacturing department to ensure understanding of the drawings.
Skills, training and experience:
- Mastery of AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks and all MS Office programs.
- High motivation and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of welding and steel fabrication symbols (layout, cutting, bending, flaring, and welding).
- Solid knowledge of mathematics (trigonometry and geometry) and mechanical aptitude.
